Armed Home Invasion In Clinton

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, with the investigative support of the Huron County OPP Crime Unit are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred earlier this week in Clinton.
At approximately 10:00 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018 Huron OPP officers responded to a Mill Street residence after receiving a 9-1-1 call for assistance.
Investigators have determined two masked males, armed with a firearm, forced entry into the home by kicking in a garage door. Once inside the residence a physical altercation ensued which involved a firearm being brandished by the suspects.
Upon stealing medication, jewellery, cell phones and cash the suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The male suspects were dressed in all black clothing, wearing long sleeved hoodies and full skeleton masks. One of the suspects was wearing a toque and the other was wearing a ball cap.
One suspect is believed to be approximately 6' tall and the other was approximately 5'9".
