Wanted Person Arrested By OPP In Listowel - Roadway Re-opened

(NORTH PERTH, ON) - Shortly after 11:00 a.m., members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with members of the OPP West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), Canine and Crisis Negotiator Team have responded to an incident in Listowel.

An ongoing investigation related to a wanted person led to the containment of a residence in the area of Main Street, Listowel, Ontario.

At approximately 5:15 p.m., a wanted male was taken into custody without incident. The male will be held for a bail hearing on February 23, 2019. Police resources will remain in the area while the investigation continues, and the roadway has been re-opened.
