Test Drive Ends With Theft Of Vehicle Charge

(GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) - On June 19, 2020 at 3:16 a.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a residence at Highway 6, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs, Ontario.

The caller had given permission to an acquaintance to take his sport utility vehicle for a test drive, as they were attempting to sell it. The vehicle was to be returned to the residence in a few hours. After two days and several attempts to locate this driver, the vehicle was reported stolen.

As a result of this investigation, the Grey Bruce OPP have charged Adriana QUANN, 31 years old from Arran-Elderslie, ON with Theft of a motor vehicle (over $5,000), section 334(a) Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released on an Undertaking and is required to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on August 20, 2020.
