ATV Stolen While Farmer Checks On Crops

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a recent theft of a Honda ATV that was stolen out of a bean field located on Halls Hill Line.

Police received information that on July 17, 2020 sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. the ATV was stolen after it had been left unattended with the key in the ignition.

The owner returned and he observed the suspect driving away on his machine heading east on Zion Road.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40 years of age with a black goatee.

The stolen ATV is described as a red 2019 Honda 500 cc, 4-wheel drive ATV with a tow bar attached to the front. The ATV is valued at approximately $9,000.

Huron OPP reminds vehicle owners to always lock your vehicle and pocket your ignition key. Please do what you can to protect your property.
