Anonymous Criminals Thriving In Owen Sound

On Sunday April 7, 2024 at 7:15 p.m. two individuals were assaulted by an associate at their east side residence. After punching a female in the face, the accused left the area upon learning that police had been called.
Owen Sound Police Officers attended to investigate the situation and subsequently located the accused a short distance away. The man was arrested for two counts of assault. During a search, the man was found in possession of one ounce of Fentanyl which has an approximate street value of $6000. Police also seized a smaller quantity of Psilocybin from him (Magic Mushrooms).
Through further investigation, police determined that the man had been supplying Fentanyl to drug users in Owen Sound.
The 25-year-old man from Scarborough, remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing, charged with Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Psilocybin and two counts of Assault.
